Meet Meg Arnold, the out-of-state attorney of Fontenot Law. Meg is a licensed attorney in Missouri. Having recently moved to Utah, she is in the process of obtaining her Utah law license. Meg is a skilled attorney with extensive experience in contract law, compliance, and administrative litigation. Meg brings vast experience in drafting and discovery projects, making her an invaluable asset to Fontenot Law, P.C. She plays a crucial role in ensuring that every essential detail is thoroughly analyzed and reflected in our pleadings. Meg’s expertise is especially vital in high-asset and highly contested divorces, where her meticulous data gathering and analysis help secure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
Before joining Fontenot Law, P.C., Meg worked as a lead contract attorney at an education law firm where she collaborated closely with clients and stakeholders to draft and review vendor agreements, employment contracts, and other essential employment documents. Prior to working at law firms, Meg served as Legal Counsel at a financial-technology, where she specialized in contract negotiation, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution within the financial services and technology sectors. Prior to that, she held the role of Associate Vice President & Associate Corporate Legal Counsel in private wealth management where she managed litigation and estate administration cases, developed internal policies, and streamlined legal processes to enhance operational efficiency.
Meg earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, where she was a Comment Writer and Staff Member for the Law Review. During law school, she served as a judicial intern of the Western District of Missouri and actively participated in student organizations. Her dedication to legal scholarship extended internationally, earning an Intellectual Property Law Certificate from Peking University School of Law in Beijing, China.
Before pursuing law, Meg earned a Bachelor of Arts in Human Biology from Stanford University, where she competed as a member of the Stanford University Women’s Volleyball and Sand Volleyball teams. With a diverse academic and professional background, Meg brings a unique, well-rounded perspective to her legal practice, providing clients with strategic, effective solutions tailored to their needs.
