I know this because I have been injured and I have had a close family member that was injured while working out of state in an auto-accident. That accident effectively ruined his life. There may also be underinsured and uninsured motorist coverages that apply to get you more money than what you would normally be able to recover from just workers’ compensation and the at-fault party’s insurer. I have experience making sure that the UM/UIM coverage pays for the client’s recovery when the liability limits are insufficient.
