Before joining Fontenot Law, Lynna gained valuable experience at Nelson Jones, PLLC, where she focused on family law, and at Mann, Hadfield & Thorne, where she
handled a wide range of cases including family, criminal, estate, and personal injury matters. Her career also includes representing domestic violence victims in New Mexico and serving as a public defender in Missouri, roles that honed her litigation skills and deepened her understanding of the challenges clients face in high-stakes legal matters. In addition to her courtroom expertise, Lynna brings exceptional communication and writing skills to every case. She has an extensive background in teaching English and Language Arts, including at the University of Utah. This experience sharpened her public speaking abilities and strengthened her persuasive writing, skills she now uses to craft compelling legal arguments and present cases with clarity and precision.

Lynna earned her Juris Doctorate from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. She also holds a Master of Arts in Literacy/Reading Instruction and a Bachelor of Arts in English and History Education, both from BYU.
